Remove Device

A Hornet device can be removed from the system.

Caution

Please make sure the device is powered up and reacheable from the network.

If the device is removed while powered off, the device is still configured to be in the current network. It will then refuse to join another network. When it happens, use “Recover” mode when joining the new network.

A faulty device can be safely removed from the network without worrying about future recovery.

Smart Reconfiguration

If a device is linked to other devices, or device is included in a Scene, or device is controlled through an App Task, the system will make reconfiguration automatically.

Automatic reconfiguration always works perfectly. Nevertheless, it may trigger further checks. For example, if an App Task is designed to take at least two lights, and one light is removed, the App Task will be marked as “error”. It is by design.
