UI Localized Translation
Libertas Thing-App is designed to serve people all over the world.
Thing-App UI shall display texts in localized languages on end-users screens.
Libertas Signature Editor
Libertas Signature Editor is the GUI tool to translate Thing-App UI into another localized language.
Crowd-sourced Localization and Translation
Everybody is allowed to contribute to Thing-App development, including localized UI translation.
If one person contributes, a whole nation may benefit.
Contribute Translation on Libertas Studio
- Log into Libertas Studio
- On the left panel (Main Menu), choose “Thing-App” -> “Installed.”
- The Thing-App windows will show up on the right side
- In the Thing-App window, choose a Thing-App package. The package will be highlighted
- From the menu bar in the Thing-App window on the right side, choose “Contribute” -> “Translate.”
- Choose a language
Translate
A Libertas Signature Editor will pop up. The text strings are cloned from the current working language. The user shall translate the “Display Name” into the new language.
Do not forget to translate the “String Resources.”

String Resources
The String Resources of a Thing-App shall also be translated. Click the “String Resources” button to bring up the editor.
