Libertas Hub
Libertas Hub is the edge device of Libertas IoT platform. Libertas is a user-centric IoT network in which Libertas Hub is the central controller.
- Libertas Hub is the “trust center” that manages access control, permissions, security credentials.
- Libertas Hub manages all connected devices (Things), Thing-Apps, users, and data and keeps the system running in a way of self-organizing and self-healing.
- Libertas Hub interacts with users through management tool such as Libertas smartphone App to perform remote control and management.
- Libertas Hub features the Libertas-OS operating system. Thing-Apps can run on Libertas Hub, while most of Thing-Apps are “write once, run everywhere.”
- Libertas Hub comes with Libertas Studio, a free full-fledged development IDE for Thing-App development.
- Libertas Hub can be dedicated hardware, or integrated into third-party hardware such as routers, NAS and car infotainment systems. Smartonlabs also provides Raspberry Pi images of Libertas Hub for Thing-App developers.
